Brake problems, Help please. Brake drum help needed too
K, my brakes are a bit squishy, but ok. I heard that it could be the brake booster, just seeing if anyone would know. The problem comes when I come to really push down on the brakes. There is a weird feeling in the pedal, like a bumpy feeling, granted its not ABS or anything, just like the pads arent gripping or something. Does anyone think that it could be the brake drums in the back? I havent had the shoes replaced. Also, can anyone tell me how to replace my own components in the brake drum?
the best piece of advise i can give u is buy a chiltons manual for the car. if you have never worked on the rear drums then u will get lost pretty quickly

Sounds like you need a bleed.

Could be warped rotors. Pedal pulse is almost always a warped rotor.

Probably not, it's most likely your fronts, change the pads and rotors. Every car I've had has gone over 100K before needing the shoes replaced, and that's with hard driving and track time. My mom's civic had 280K on it when the engine went from oil starvation, and the rear drums were never touched.

If your serious about working on your honda, you should buy a Helm Manual. They make the books that honda's service department use. Granted it costs more ($70 for helm, and $15 for chilton), but its 1200 pages dedicated to your year make & model. Chilton is more general, and only quotes specs from the Helms manual.
Best $70 I ever spent...
