Need HELP on H&R race springs. Please read! Thanks.
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a set of H&R race springs for a 4 cylinder 1999 Accord LX sedan. The correct part number for these is 51853-88. When I received the springs I checked and found that although the front springs had the right part number the rears had part number 51858-88. According to H&R's website, this is the part number for a set of race springs for a sedan with a V6. I contacted my seller and he says that I have the correct rear springs. I am not convinced and wonder if you guys can help me out. I know some of you may have the same set of springs and was wondering if you had any such problem. Please help. Thanks!

I have the fifth generation accord, 94-97 model year. The suspension parts are the same and are interchangable. We can use springs from the 4-cylinder in the V-6 cars. It just drops the V-6 a little lower due to the increase in weight. Maybe the same applies to your model year.
