Default Car mysteriously died..............dizzy or main relay

Driving around 30 mph my tach drops dead kinda like when timing belt broke. I used my auto club to tow back to the shop where they did the timing belt. Turns out that wasn't the problem.

The guys says to leave it and he'll tell me tomorrow what was wrong. I thought "car with these guys + overnight = **** up something and rape this kid". I demanded they tell me what is wrong because when I went with the tbelt they were happy to diagnose in a minute.

There was no spark so they say maybe it's the dizzy or the main relay. All of a sudden they can't narrow my problem unless they have the car to themselves.

I called auto club and brought car home.

How can I tell if it's main relay or dizzy? Will the main relay from my other civic 2000 VP work in 95 EX

check the numbers on the relay and see if theyre the same or call up your local Honda dealership and get the part #s for both.

Hopefully its just the main relay.

tach dropped dead...you tried cranking it...turns, but not over? Sounds like dizzy...same ol' shiets happend to me. The ignition coil went bad in mine I had problems since the new one and i recommend getting a OEM dizzy or one from Distributorking.
