Default New shoes for the EH2

Well this isn't gonna be a street setup besides to and from the autocross track. I wanted a set of VX rims for so long and everyone is like "why"? They don't make good performance tires for the VX besides Sumi's from the tirerack which Dustin (Bauleycivic) runs on his set of VX rims. Well when you can't get Azenis(since they don't come in 13") for them you go one step better and get some Advans A048's 185/60. Got these basically brand new and just have to wait for my new valve stems to come in the mail before getting mounted. I also got a set of 1/4 spacers so there not so tucked in the wheelwells like they usually do. I just painted the rims white so they look like mini 96' ITR 4 lug rims. Duplicolor wheel paint works wonders and leaves a really nice hard finish to it. I painted right over the valve stems since I'm getting new ones anyways and was too lazy to take them out at the time I was painting them.

UPDATE! Well it's my birthday today and treated myself. I went and got them mounted on at of all places...Walmart! It was the second cheapest place to get them mounted and balanced for a grand total of 46 bucks. Ehh, it was the only place open on Sunday and I was dying to get them on and see how they looked. I may have to touch them up alil from the mounting machine chipping some paint but it's no biggie.

Now this rubber wouldn't be any good if it wasn't be put to the ground and just peg legging it...

Now I just gotta find some center caps for them! Oh these are also getting 1/4 spacers so there not so tucked in the wheel wells also and some TL OEM studs I just gotta install.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...+A048
Tirerack used to sell the 13" version but I see that they just have the 16" now. They used to run like 100-110 per tire for the 13" sizes. Not for the faint of heart just to keep your VX rims and I wouldn't run these as a daily tire cause 400 for a new set of 13" tires is pretty heavy for the wallet.
