Average Fast N/A Streetable?
What's the average for a fast n/a car that's streetable or whats the fastest n/a street car to date? I just wanna compare with the times over here (Canada). 1/4 Mile times and what setups (if it's not too much to ask). I tried searching came up with nothing.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
A mid 13 second car is easily "streetable". It is also possible to have a fairly light car that runs high 12's and is mild mannered enough to drive through the local In-N-Out.
I think there are a few guys that are running 12's and 13's here that have extremely streetable set-ups. Your forgetting weight is a very important factor. My mate has a completely stripped EF9 civic with a near stock B18C in it and has run 13.09 streetable Yes, practical NO. Where as now there are a few guys with K20A powered cars running low 13's high 12's with almost full interior's on stock motor with a few bolt ons. thats streetable and practical.
But I'd imagine a B16A powered EG Hatch that ran 12's wouldnt be as streetable, since it would need alot of engine work done. Plus I guess it depends on what you want to drive. I'd happily put my EG back to road legal ad have an 11 second street car..

our red street CRX si ran 12.3's on MT street drags ... all motor 86mm bore and full interior (weighing in 2290 lbs I believe).
We'll be testing out FROG street car very soon ... prolly on street tires.

My 91 si (heaviest EF ever) weighs 2323 with the rear seats out. It has a 5-lug and miscellaneous other weight, plus ac, etc.....
