Default h22 VSS interchangeable with m2b4?

I just got an m2b4 tranny and its missing the VSS, I already sold my last tranny so I have nothing to test with. I need to look for another one so can anyone feed me some info on what to look for that would fit? I really hope I don't have to look for a m2b4 one. Thanks.

Any H-series should be fine. I'm using an auto VSS on my manual tranny....

Hmm I'm not so sure about it. When I replaced my old tranny with U2Q7 leaving my old VSS and it appeared that my tripmeter cheats as much as 20% in plus which sucks a lot. I don't know if I could calibrate the tripmeter somehow again to get proper readings. My tires are in stock size. I tried to find any info about differences in gearing of this ring which drives the VSS in both trannies, but I failed.

BTW which gear drives the VSS?

you don't count lol your in poland god only knows how many pulses the vss put out over there in order to get the right units/per measurement, also there may not be as much standardization over there because hondas might not be such a big import?? u2q7 that rings a bell ... thats the accord type r tranny, if i am not mistaken that could have an lsd, the possibilitie exists that the drive gear of the vss was different some how., in the us honda pretty much standardized the vss, up until the newer hondas. i have uses h22-h23 vss, 5spd and auto, and accord vss.

yeah, and we drink vodka with polar bears...

VSS should put as many pulses as in any JDM Honda as we have kilometers here. So there should be no differences IMO, but if it is gear driven (and is for sure) there can be a difference (ATR tranny had to have it smaller to make VSS spin quicker or so).

And yes U2Q7 has LSD.

The original is from H23 I believe. I had to use it as in newer Accords PS is electronic.

Chances are huge, but I don't know if your resources are...
I could have U2Q7 brand new but it costs over 3500$. I doubt you'll be willing to spend this amount of money for tranny though.
If you think about used stuff then you're the fifth or sixth in the queue But so far I haven't met any U2Q7 for sale.
