I have a '99 accrord. Anybody know why the ABS light is on? I had the brakes replaced, but it's still on. It had turned off for about 2 weeks but came back on..... Also, The check engine light was on for about a month, but now it turned off... I didn't do anything to it. when I had it checked at AutoZone, the code they gave me was P0420 Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold... Not sure if it has anything to do with either of these lights, but I noticed that...sometimes... when I'm slowing down, the RPM's drop from, for example, 4000 to 2000, then immediately pick right back up again... If anyone has any ideas....lemme know!

 

is the performance of your brakes deteriorating...because the same thing happened to me and it was leaking brake fluid in the calipers .... it happened to me again and it was the o2 sensor in the catalytic converter. Basically the computers on 6th gen accords especially automatics are really messed when u do upgrades and boot it frequently
