I just got some EG headlights straight from Japan . There is this bulb at the bottom of it that look as though it needs to be hooked up to something. Help me if you know what I'm talking about. Either way, I need to know what to wire it to in order for it to work.

 

Hook it up to your corner lights. Splice into the black and red wires. Easy as that.

 

But doing that makes the city lights activate at the first click with the corner lenses.

do a search for city lights. you'll get pics of what they look like. they're supposed to come on at the first click.

Personally i made my City lights only light up by themselves at the first click. Didnt like the way it looked with the Outer turnsignals on too.

How did you do that?

 

I just cut into the black wire of the turnsignal and connected it to the city lights connection. Thats it. I Did not connect the red at all.

Will the corner lights work at all?

 

Yes. Just make sure theres no break in the connection.

So how do people know that you're turning, in their rear view?

 

No the turn signals work on the first click. They just dont light up. You know what i mean?

So let me just make sure I understand this. If I splice the wires and disconnect the corners then the headlight back light will light up with the corners? So they'll both be on at the same time right?

Splice into only the Black wire on the turn signals (ignore this diagram, only used for splicing up city lights to light up with the corners just to give you an idea of what your working with)

So when I turn on the corners the city lights come on as well. That's tight, thanks for the help.

 

NONONO! LOL You got it wrong. If you connect the red and black, then the City lights turn on at the smae time. If you jsut do it connecting the black wire, then the city lights only come on at 1 click. Do you understand that ?

 

So if I just connect the black wire then the City Lights come on with the corners. But if I do red and black then the City Lights come on with the headlights?

 

No.
1. If you connect just he black, at the first click(when your turn signals play the role of city lights) the city lights in the headlights turn on and the corners are cancelled out.

2. At 1 click if you connect the red and the black, then you get both the corner and the light inside your headlight on at 1 click.
