Default new springs

well, i searched plenty...but most people have switched to sportlines from something else. i, on the other hand, have sportlines and want something not quite as bouncy. have of you guys/girls, switched from sportlines to another spring? i'd like to keep the same drop(about 1.5) but am willing to have less drop for a better ride. i know i should get some nice coilovers, but college has drained my bank and i don't take it to the track but a few times a year. how about pro-kit?

I have Tein S-techs and i love it. Even with the stock struts its a good ride. 1.7 in the front and 1.4 in the rear.

edit, noticed you have an ep. Not sure on the drop with that application but either way tein is a quality spring
