Default Weird tire combos.....

Does anyone in the auto-x world know of someone who has done, or is doing currently, some interesting tire combos? Primarily in a strictly beneficial way, not "I am so cool cuz' I got a 10" wide tire on my car!!" I am thinking of doing like a 205/50/15 on a 7" rim in the front and a 195? maybe 175? on the same rim in the rear. Thought process being that with the skinnier tire on the same sized rim in the rear it will round the tire a bit giving less contact patch, and will sqruare the tire a bit more in the front for more contact patch, resulting in an easier rotateabilty. Does this seem feasible(sp) ?

I have run 235/45/13 Kumho V700 in the front with each of the following in the rear:

235/45/13 V700
215/45/13 V700
205/50/15 Ecsta 711* (Not really by choice)

I like the 235 in the rear best because it gives me the highest level of overall traction. The suspension setup I run also provides enough oversteer with the wide rear tires.
