Default h22 ECu

I was told a few days ago that u can use the p28 ecu with h22spec rom for an h22a swap into an ej....?????

Anybody know if this is true?

whats p28? GSR? if so then yes you can use a p28. typically gives higher top end but lose some midrange, from graphs ive seen............John

p28 is singlecamvtec
p72 is gsr

yes you can use a p28 chipped but you won thave knock or IAB
with the gsr you can still use both ofthose or disable it
p28 it automatically disabled

YES...this is true. I have this done on my h22 eg hatch. You can get an h22 program to run off a p28...that does disable you knock sensor and secondaries for your butterflies inside the intake manfold. If you running a single runner intake manifold that wont matter(obviously). If not just take out the secondaries and your set.

Btw....I along with a few others have used newmans h22 program with p28 with good results. But, there are others and i suggest you search before buying one.
