Default Ready to dive in.... but am I getting the right deal?

So far, I've narrowed it down to a Hobart Handler 140.

A) I don't have a 220 available
B) I'm renting and the owner says NO-GO on installing 220
C) I want to keep it under $1k for the whole deal

So, I got a package deal on a Weldmark Handler 140 (made by Hobart), comes with a cylinder cart, 55cf argon/Co2 cylinder w/gas, and a 030 x 11# 70S-6 wire spool.

All for $605.99 + tax.

Good? Bad?

The welder itself is $419.99
Bottle w/gas is $110.95

Don't know how much wire is, but I think it was $25 - 30

The cart is about $65

... Ok last question,

What helmet to get? I know I want the biggest window possible, auto darkening, and adjustable

Right?

Thanks for your experienced input!

a good way to practice with your new toy is to build the cart yourself the steel to make it might cost you more than the cart itself but you'll be a better man for it

good luck
