88 si prelude engine swap
Well, it all depends on what kind of money you want to spend. But as far as 3g prelude swap go, you can do one of the following.
1. JDM B20A (cheap,good replacement motor,low miles too)
2. B16 head swap (its been done several times,no good IMO)
3. B16/18 swap (no mount kit available, ive seen pics of it but not in person. sure it can be done though
4.F22/H22/H23 swap (most expensive, very few done,im gonna be one of 7 or 8 in the U.S. to do this swap, most say its not worth it but who cares its not their money. Also the bolt in kit is FAR FROM BOLT IN!!)

someone i work with told me i could put a h22a in it as well, but damn, i want to put a h22a type s in my 93 vtec. thats a lot of money. also told i could but a type r engine in it. is this correct? (i'm sure the type r is more expensive than the h22a) i just want to decide if its worth doing a swap in my 3rdgen lude or just use that money and put it on a down payment when the new z350 comes out...or an old NSX
Yea, like i said above, the NEWER B series motors will work but theres going to be alot of custom fab most likely. Simply because theres no mount kit available for it. So you'd be stuck doing either MAKING the stock ones work OR get some custom made mounts. Not worth it IMO. Type R motors are VERY high priced. Cheapest one ive seen was like $4700...I paid $2500 for my '95 JDM H22. LOL, GO FOR THE NSX!!!
