no but lets say using butt connectors for injectors cost me big time. Something as small as a ****** wire.

The LS-T that I just sold: 95' B18b longblock, 150K mi., Uberdata street tuned, 450 dsm's and, was driven everyday. It only had about 4K mi. boosted before I sold it but, none the less. It was very reliable and I am sure it still is. I tuned it very conservative but, the numbers it threw down didn't look that way. BTW, the turbo was a garrett Ta3107(a lil' bigger than a T25).

i'm up to 9 months and 12,000km now, daily driven at 10psi. Boosted the engine when it was on 218,000km which i think is around 136k miles, so far no boost related problems (only issue i've had that wasnt present before boosting was a MAP sensor wire which decided to short itself)

I had my ls-t for almost a year on fmu and safc tuned before I sold it. Never had a problem for the 10,000 miles I drove it at 10-11psi.

I blew mine after like 25k miles... But I pretty much asked for it. I ran untuned (I tuned it by ear) for like 11psi, ran a 14.1 (street tires)... It was pretty quick. I was home one day, was running open DP for the first time ever... No airfilter. The thing was making the most power it ever had... and I lined up against this firebird and never looked back. It blew hard at the top of fourth, but as you can see, it was pretty much my fault.

Now I rebuilt the motor (for >$700) or so, Vitaras and some sweet rods... And I'm running 15lbs with a 3-bar on another ***-tune

So far so good... The vitaras seem to like TONS of timing, so I'm running 29* as of today @ 15psi... No detonation. The low compression thing really seems to need it... Though it's probably rich as ****. I'm gonna tune it soon... Maybe I finally got another spare block, nearly free

*** dyno says only about 250whp @ 15psi, which is telling me the bitch is either pig rich... still wants more timing, or both. I think I actually am going to end up backing off a degree or two and leaning it out when I get to the dyno, but who knows. I know I'm pretty good with the tune-by-ear since I've done three cars already, but then again you can't max out a setup with an ear tune w/o blowing **** up. I'm hoping for 300whp this time around, and I think she's got it in her.

I'll let you all know.

Matt

Just got it boosted back in November. I put on about 3.5 k miles since then Uberdata and 450 DSM like you. I check compression once a month and they haven't dropped a point. If you tune conservative and don't demand too much you'll be fine. How many miles we can never know. It could be only 7k miles or maybe 100,000.

CHEAP, FAST, RELIABLE>>>PICK2

mine is semi slow (250-260whp) and not too cheap so it's reliable

Wish I knew. The second HG is "trying to" hang in there. However, it needs to be broken down and picked apart.

Hrmm...what HG are you running?

I blew my ZC because of the shitty carbon HG's. Blew out and then the oil pump picked up the peices...BAM there goes my rod.

Also bent all 8 intake valves on my 2.0L B18c couple weeks ago. **** ******* blows.
