Here's the story i was driving my civic home to PA when all of a sudden it starts bogging down and and shuts off. I'm like WTF. So i get out and look under the hood and I'm getting fuel but no spark so i get towed home. I bought a rebuilt distributor and it came with all new internals plus i replaces the cap and rotor button, plug wires and plugs. STILL NO SPARK so at this point i'm pissed. So me and my buddy are like maybe it's the ecu so my friend lends me his and that's not it. So we check the resists at the coil it's fine. and we then check all the NEW internals their all ready correct voltage. So this where i'm at now and i am truely f*ckin stumped. WILL ANYONE HELP ME

 

listen it's probably your ignitor in the dizzy pull the cap off it's the chip with the four connectors hooked to it take it out and get it checked at the parts store

 

it is a brand new ignitor

 

sometimes new distributors can come with faulty parts

 

i tried another ignitor outta my buddies car and still no spark

 

try a different dizzy altogether are you sure it has absoltely no spark?

 

i tried his dizzy and his car runs and still no spark i checked for arcing also and found nothin. It has absolutly no spark. I'm running out of options. I need this car it's my only way to get around. and it's my baby.

 

Check your ground wires.

 

checked the grounds all good

Check the main relay.

 

where is the main relay located on the 95 civic because i was told about the main relay and could never find it.

 

Also check to make sure that there are no breaks or shorts in the wiring for the dizzy.
