Default Loose cam gear?

Just bought a 94 gsr drove it 110 miles home and noticed there is a noise coming from the vc. It does'nt make the noise all the time, just every once in a while while accelerating or just reving by hand. She has about 200k on it,I know thats alot but its going to be the next project. BTW, I did search. If not a loose cam gear could it be a TBT? Don't know much about acuras/hondas yet so any insight would be nice.

Timing belt needs adjustment/replacement.If you don't know when it was replaced last, put it on the top of your things to do list.Loose gear would spin and you would be asking more expensive questions.

It could need a valve adjustment, or is it really loud

Like "aziz93" said it could be a bad LMA (lost motion assembly).Do a search on lma and see if that fits your noise.
