after returning to my car from a day out with my gf i found sum git had smashed into my mirror and broke the glass

luckily there was no damage to the paint on the mirror otherwise it would have been a costly respray but the mirror is totally smashed and needs replacing

does anyone know if i can just replace the glass, how much will it cost?
and is it a five minute job i could do myself

also does anyone know hiw it clips out of mirrors and i pressum the mirror can be left on the car

if you have glass coverage on your Ins then try safelite, they will come to your house and take care of everything.

I beleive it's $30 part. I wouldn't involve your insurance company, its not worth it.

The mirror glass is easy to replace IMO. Easier off then back on though.
