just wondering how many people here took their car for quarter mile runs when the car was still stock, and what timing did they do?

Me, with only mod of an AEM cold air intake, i am very happy with 14.9 quarter mile.

i ran mine here at laguna-seca and got a 14.7 with a crappy reaction time and semi ok tires
i had an AEM CAI DC 4-1 header and thats it
im pretty happy i was able to stay in the 14s

your questions have been answered many a times.

 

14.9 was my best stock time, that was after a wet nite and track not prepped. down here in nz its quite common to get 14.6 out of stock ITR's, a friend even squezzd 14.2 out of his with no back seats and plastic in back and CAI

 

14.8 for my 96spec ITR on 17s but i did have AD07 tyres on the front at the time and managed a near perfect start without wheel spin

 

14.6xx with my J's intake and Azenis.
