How do you know when your fuel pressure gauge breaks?
my fuel pressure gauge sits at 70 psi at idle, static, and when the car shuts off. there is no change in the way the car runs. it only goes down when you relieve fuel pressure. is this a broken gauge? how do you know if your gauge is broken?
do you have a FPR,
if so turn it up and down and see if the gauge moves with the increase or decrease in pressure.
platinum.

Take off the vacuum-reference line. The fuel pressure gauge should respond immediately and show an increase of roughly 5psi or so.
The needle on my B&M wrapped completely around and was sitting on the OTHER side of the peg at zero psi...it would not move. I upgraded to a Marshall fuel pressure gauge with silicone inside...this greatly prolongs the life of the gauge, especially one that's mounted in a high shock location like directly on the engine.
pulled off vac from FPR. Still stuck at 70 psi. relieved fuel pressure and it sometimes stays stuck between 70 and 40 psi. tapped it a few times to get it to zero. i think it is jacked up. i might go pick up camp1320's gauge.

actually, im not on the fmu anymore. im on hondata. i have more problems than just the FP gauge being jacked up. I hope this solves the Fuel pressure problem.
