Default Finally, semi-current dyno run movie (264whp, 170trq)

Well I finally got around to it and got my video of my car dynoing a few weeks ago at the NorCal dyno event at DSR. The video shows 4 runs I believe. My car wating 264whp and 170trq on the video.

Note: yeah its really loud. Ask any of the NorCal ITR guys how loud that car is. Thats with the 3" thermal R&D exhaust, kami header, and test pipe.
Oh yeah if you look closely at my tach (when the light hits it) you will see how high I rev it. And thats with stock internals (minus my ti-retainers). Its shows 10,000rpms, but its really 9500rpms since the stock tachs are off.

Anyway here's the link to the movie. NOTE: its a 10meg file (1.5min) and the server its on is kinda messed up so it will download semi-quick.

Yes that is very loud
Couple questions: Why do you need to rev that high on stock cams? And why not dyno in 4th gear?

I rev so high to make more power. The JRSC's peak power is at redline, so when I rev higher, I make more power. Also I dyno in 3rd gear because thats where you drive the most in and thats where you want the car to pull in. 4th gear works too but you get higher readings. With newer dynojets, the 1:1 ratio thing really isn't that big of a problem because they automatically adjust to it by tapping off the ignition wires and reading the tire speed, etc...
When I compaire my 3rd gear run to a 4th gear run, I'm like 4-5whp stronger across the band with the 4th gear run.

Do I have hearing problems? No, at least not yet. On the way back from Laguna awhile back I actually plugged my ears on this one up hill part because the drowning sound was driving me crazy! lol

BTW- I love the sound EP!! I just added that to my getto 20" dub rim mix for a friend! hahahah
