anyone here ever make an aluminum heatshield for an HF manifold.. im looking to put one on my turbo delsol. if you have pics, pleas post them up.. i might be looking to buy one too if anyone wants to make one up.

They come with a factory heat shield that you can use. 4 years ago when I did a turbo ZC I used an hf manifold with a heatshield, the manifold and shield were actually from a VX, so if you need on get it off a VX

 

There r 2 holes on the top of the HF manifold. Get yourself some sheet metal bend it against a table or something and drill two holes. Bam... DIY heat shield.

I have a stock repainted HF shield but I'm gonna make one out of Diamond plate when I get some time.

 

yeah i want a aluminum one, not the stock one.. and id like to make one, i was just wondering if anyone had any pics of thier custom made ones.

 

hmmm... i remember taking a picture a long time ago of a friend's HF mani and diamond plate shield. I probably won't be able to find it.

Use ur imagination and if you really must.... mock it up with some cardboard.

 

anyone know what size blots go into the mani to hold the sheild on

i am going to try to fab something like this up this weekend maybe...

 

They are typical Honda bolts. Either the 14mm or 12 mm ones. I forget off hand.
