Default Gearing

Got a B18CR w/LSD tranny. The car has I/H/E w/JRSC and a JDM Type R ECU. When I go on the highway, I top out at about 130mph at around 6500 rpm. Then, I hit fuel cut off and cant go past that. Is it my gear ratios or the ecu?

most japanese cars have speed limiters in them, i believe. Top speed for the 96 spec without a speed limiter should be 147, like the usdm with 4.40 fd. The 98 spec with 4.785 fd should be limited to a little over 140 mph.

It's the ECU. Speed limited.
