the reason i didnt post on the force induction forum is because it didnt allow me to, that is why im posting here. well anyhow i found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33742 and wow it is really cheap. does this kit suck or something? like the manifold will crack in a few runs.. i just wanna know if its worth it.thank you

 

that is cheap, but i wouldnt trust it. not worth it.

 

id buy it just for the turbo, sell the other stuff that you dont know much about, make some money, and piece together your own turbo kit! well just my .02 good luck

it's not a complete kit..no downpipe etc..usually those are too good to be true

 

that really isnt a "kit" since u will still need oil lines to run to and from the turbo, a complete fuel system upg such as injectors,rail,FPR,pump, also has no engine magangement system or pipes, so ull still need a up and down pipe and im sure many other items but for that price its worth just the turbo

 

**** that don't waiste your $$ I baught one of those turbos and the turbo was fucked up. The center shaft was warped it made no boost, the fins hit the side of the compressor housing and it was just garbage, and a huge *** waiste of time. Don't do it.

from my research, the ssautochrome manifold is definitly a horribly built mani, however, with the propper bracing OF THE TURBO, it will be quite a reliable manifold, weld a brace from the turbo to the block inorder to keep the weight off the manifold, get a good flex section on your downpipe and it should be fine.. as long as no weight is on the manifold itself.

 

autochrome kits are crap, if you love your integra do NOT buy that kit.

 

if you want a quality cheap set up, just piece it together, check the FI classifieds. You can build a decent setup for about a grand or a little more.

 

ya ss autochrome sux. when it comes to cars, always remember this, you get what you pay for.
