I'm sorry.

Please, be safe guys. We might as well all know each other and I hate to hear about friends getting hurt.

If I go on the bike I pray it be quick and happy.

Keep the rubber side down. My condolences go out to friends and family.

i hear ya man.. its just more cause to enroll in an MSF course and to not test fate on the street.. ("high rate of speed over the hill"). not that i'm placing blame..but it's a scary and tragic result of goin a little too fast.

my heart goes out to him, the family, and his friends.

The biggest problem I face on my bike is not others. It's myself. When I drive, I drive very slow. When I'm on my bike, I constantly holding myself back. I think that's why our sport is so dangerous. Riding a sportbike makes you want to go faster.

yeah there is a big uproar going on down here about this. somehow it was the bikers fault when the car turned illegally infront of him. i don't like riding in pensacola anymore because of the horible roads/drivers.

I'm guessing the "high rate of speed" aspect has something to do with it.

Ride safe guys.

thats what the uproar is about there is some confusion with how fast he ws going. original reports put him at around 40-45mph. rumor mills have put on 100mph+. i didn't know this guy,but i know some of his friends, and supposedly excessive speeding on a busy street iwasout of character for him.

One doesn't penetrate that far into a car at 45mph, he was going faster than that. At 35mph the penetration is something along the lines of 18" or so on a door, that appears to be 2-3 feet, and look at the roof line, that is some serious damage for 45mph. I don't think it was 100 either though, that seems a bit much.

Hey guys, well I finally did it! I made it here to Pensacola, FL. Well the new personal Low part is that it was 17 DEGREES when I left the beach area! It didn't warm up above 40 until after Atlanta!!!! I was on the bike for a total of 18 hours and 20 minutes!!! It is normally only supposed to be a 12.5- 13 hr trip but it took me 3.5 hrs. getting from the beach to Emporia alone!!! SNOW & ICE ON A BIKE JUST SUCKS!!!!! Well, either way, that was the longest I've gone and the coldest I've been. Just thought I would let you all know that it's possible, crazy and horrible but it is possible! And of course I'm here loving this FL weather now!

Later guys,

Sean C.

He went doing what he loved, you can't ask for more than that.

I hope he finds nothing but joy during that wicked awesome ride that we're all going to take.

be vary careful of destin in the summer time. we get an inflow of about 25000 new people every week. thats a whole lot of cars that don't know where they are goin. if you want. im me when you come down i'll show you some good places to ride. Pcola is a lot worse for riding safety year round, but destin is bad from june to end of august.

there are no skid marks where he hit the car so, he didn't break at all. who knows i'm not doing th investigation. saturns arn't the most sturdy car. i would expect more damage on a saturn than a caddy. if he was speeding excessivly its still a shame. for the most part people in cars don't pay enough attetnion. they try to multitask too much.
