Default type r linkage

Just wondering. Would I be able to use the shift linkage from the B16 I already have in my car, or would i have to use the type r shift linkage I am getting with my swap.

What generation CRX?

Either or use 90-93 Integra (will need to be cut to fit)
2g CRX JDM B16 shift linkage also works

I believe the 94+ Integra linkage would work but would need to but cut also
Del Sol DOHC VTEC and Civic SI (99-00) should also fit but needs to be cut also.

I am sure of the 90-93 Integra and JDM shift linkage though

Otherwise purchase http://www.hasport.com linkage made for this specific application.

I am assuming you have a B16A already in your CRX and are getting a B18C swap. In that case, you'd just use the same linkage you're already using.

Isn't the ITR shiftlinkage a little beefier then the standard run of the mill Integra linkage?

LOL, "no", the Type R linkage is exactly the same as the B16 one as far as beefyness goes. It you have a B16, it will fit and work perfect.

The type R shifter is the same strength, the throw is shorter. Its 2mm away from being a skunk 2 shifter.

Yes, but keep in minds that all '94-01 Integras use the same shifter, including the ITR - so they're all that way. Only difference is that the R shifter is silver colored, while the others are just painted black.
