Default EF Suspension

So, you've prolly all heard of ghetto lowering jobs. EG with EF struts for 2 inch drop.

Well, I wanna know how to ghetto drop my civic (1990 Honda Civic CX, getting rid of it, want to cheapo slam it). I did a search in the EF forum for 'suspension' with little results.

I heard 90 Accord will drop it. Is it true? If anyone knows, thanks!

Actually, I want to ghetto slam it, like...pick up the struts from my local scrap yard for 40-50$ lol. Then MAYBE get some coilovers for those struts, and start tucking 13s lol.

Well then 89 accord struts and cheap coilovers are your ticket. I am pretty sure you just need the ones the front and stock in the rear. I used to tuck 13's in the front with kyb struts and cheap coilovers. Try searching using the search function on here. You may be able to find more topics on the accord strut swap.

No spring cutting for me.

Is there any suspension that will drop it more then 1 inch like the 90 accord? The 89 accord someone mentioned? How much should that drop it?

4g wagon rear struts have the spring perch about 3" lower then the hatch/crx strut, but have longer springs, slap on your springs and wham, instant 3"drop,plus you get to bottom out the strut all the time as a added bonus .If you can find some DA rear springs to put on the wagon struts it'll drop it almost 2"
