what all would need to be done to switch it over.
the guy i bought it off of said that to keep it running u need to keep putting gas into the carb cuz the fuel cell or something was bad. but anyways if it is carborated what all will i have to do to change it to a fuel injected?
You're not listening...
screw what the guy told you....it's not uncommon for moron mechanics mistake the dpfi assembly for a carb.
For us to tell you what needs to be done, we have to know if its carb'd or DPFI.
Changing from DPFI, which is already a form of fuel injection to the more desireable MPFI is relatively easy.
Converting from a full carb to fuel injection is much more involved.
It would help if you could tell us the trim/model of Civic (DX, LX, EX etc).
Go look under your hood and read what's on the top of the black, circular lid on the intake manifold.
