hey all,
i got me '96 gsr, almost done shaving it and painting it.. but my concern is..
i have stock gsr transmission, and i'm ordering jdm gsr motor.. any suggestions about that set up? i mean anything wrong with it, or should i get jdm tranny as well..
also, any major difference if i get skunk2 stage1 camshafts or is it worth going for skunk2 stage2 + valve spring & retainers.. ?

any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

you can use the tranny that you have now. If you go with the skunk stage 2 your gonna want to upgrade the valve train, but before you do all that figure out what exactly you want to do with the motor turbo/na

 

skunk 2 stage 2 cams work the best if u bump up the cr a little... otherwise if u arent going to extreme of a na setup, i would just get the stage 1's.

the tranny will be fine also
