Watching the auction on Speedvision and there is hope for our cars....
A Yenko Camaro SS just sold for $110,000 !!!! I don't know much about these cars, except that they were put out by this specialty dealership in the 60's that made super hot rods. They shoveled HUGE engines into the domestic compacts of the day.
So why as ITR owners should we care ?
In the future (I mean 20 yrs from now), imagine what a stock ITR would go for. Especially since there may only be about 20 or so left by that time. I know some people consider our cars "crap". But you have to admit, our cars are an ICON of the late 90's early 00's. Sort of like the Dodge Charger, Mustang, Camaro. Back then most people didn't think much of those cars.

well. but some 69 stangs can whoop some modern stang's ***. And that's in drag racing, something that most Americans care about than road or autox.
maybe this is a stretch, but I always considered my car the 1969 mach 1 or our generation. I don't know for sure, but I think numbers wise, were really close.
interesting comparison. I consider the ITR more of japans version of the E30 M3...just me though. I wonder if my car will be worth $100K in 20-30 years
