A QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU!
Yesterday, my front end got jacked, and I was planning to get the JDM Conversion kit, do any of you guys know how I would go about getting the Kit payed for partly or full by the insurance company? Would i get an estimate, and pay for all of it, then recieve the check later from the insurance company? how would i go about doing this? any info appreciated. thanks.
well with my insurance, you go show them the damage and then they look up how much it cost for parts (oem) and labor and cut you a check on the spot and you can go get what ever you want with it. I have geico insurance BTW.

But..dont they not give u a check on the spot? Instead, don't they ask you to go to a body repair shop, get an estimate from them (meaning you must recieve service from them, im assuming) and using the insurance funds to repair the regular USDM front end?
hey i see youre from bellevue washington.
take your car to millen autobody in redmond (they are THE shiet ).
take your car in for a free estimate.. then you show the estimate to your insurance adjuster and he'll review it to see if he agrees. they will then write you the check, and you do what you want.
the insurance adjuster is going to tell you to go to a body shop and you HAVE to do it there, but they are just pulling your leg so you dont take their money and do something else with it.
talk to scott millen, and tell him Jonas with the phoenix yellow hatchback sent you.
this is the type of quality they'll give you..

thats millen autobodies work.. they put the jdm front on and painted it.

kinda odd that only your front end got stolen? but if insurance does give you the money, the prices for oem parts are just about the same as a jdm parts. so you dont have to worry about that. just make sure they give money for oem parts and not replacement parts which aren't made by honda
You will probably have to come up with a little bit of $$$ because the JDM parts are a little bit more than OEM, if I remember correctly.
Not all insurance co. will cut you a check on the spot. The only one's that do are Geico and Progressive, and it's usually a two party check with either the shop of your choice or your leinholders name on it.
