Ok i just bout an 88 civic DX with the DOHC zc already swapped in. Alright at first the problem was the distributer, so i got the distributer put in and it might be the wrong one, i don't know anything about zcs... But it starts the car, however the car won't rev past 4,000 rpms. Also when i turn the lights on i can't rev it at all. When i push the gas in it starts to sputter out... I'm not sure if it's the ECU or the distributer or just the wiring itself...? Maybe someone can give me details on the zc/dx swap and what all needs to be done. Thanks

 

ok your car came with dual point fuel injection, which is 2 fuel injectors......you may have passed this point, but you need to wire it for mpfi (multi point fuel injection) after that you will need an si distributor.....pm me for full details.....gotta "service the gf" lol.....ill definately have some answers for you
