Electronic fuel injection for all???
Do all the newer CBR series come equiped with electronic fuel injection or is it the bigger bikes. I'm planning on getting a bike after the winter is over and was thinking about a 600cc cbr. I want to get a quick ride but still be able to tune it nicel.I've never had a bike before so thought it'd be good to get a 600, maybe a 750.
well honda doesn't make a CBR 750...so that won't happen. 600 is a decent size for a first bike you just gotta respect it, if you've never rode before your going to be amazed at the power... fuel injection is much more expensive to tune that a carb'd bike eh?? i don't know why you don't think you can tune a carb'd bike. Honda started fuel injection in 2001.....the F4i was first fuel injected model and it was a 600

The Intercepter is a 781cc, PGM-FI VTEC bike.
Older VFRs are also 750, before they moved up.
Not CBRs, of course.

EDIT: No, it was 1998, on the VFR 800FI
To half-way answer the original question, the only Honda Sportbike that isn't fuel injected as of 05 is the Superhawk.

I don't understand it either, especially since they've stepped all their other liter bikes over, it would be easy enough to implement. They obviously have the means to do so.

You smoke crack. For the last few years they have led the way as far as goodies go on their 6RR and 6R.

Its not that I dont believe a carb'd bike cant be tuned its just that from my experience with cars that tuning seems to be more controled and precise with fuel injection, plus Im just more familiar with tuning fuel injected vehicles.
I just want to make the most educated choice on a bike for myself since I've never had one.
