Default calling all light flywheel owners!

Well i have a gsr im dropping in my crx and i just got my exedy 9.5lb flywheel. id really like watching my rpms go up fast but id like them to go down fast too. how are your motors reving? i was thinking of a light pulley too..i want the throttle response to be thru the roof thats all...i think it'll be good considering i dropped 9lbs off the stock one..and what are the hp gains? i hear definatly enought to feel the power...anyway just want some input!

its a pretty big improvement, i have an 8lb on my boosted crvtec and it just flys through the rpms, but there isnt traction either. I like the lightened alot better than stock.

cant use clutch to slow down fast? u mean down shifting wont slow u down fast? as in there isnt as much weight spinning or something so it wont slow the car down? explain a little...i just have revving the motor and it slowlly BAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idle.... u ever play grand turismo when u were kids? u know u build the hell out of the car and its bouncing off the rev limmiter like a bat out of hell and revs like a mo fo? thats kinda what i want but i know im not gonna get to that aspect but u catch my drift...

you won't notice any power gains... but you will notice the rpm's go up faster than stock and the rpm's drop faster also.. it takes more throttle to get the car to move from a stand still.. easy to get used to however

i actually heard that having one that light was too much for street and have idle problems..im not sure but seriously there isnt a point of going any lower then 9.5 if its a street car...actually an even better one would be 10-12lb but all i could get was 9.5 ..

i dont know about that i mean ur freeing up horsepower that is there but cant be use because its using it to throw around weight...cutting that weight in half i think its a possibility to get 15hp at the flywheel making what about8 at the wheels...yea so i guess really 8hp to the wheels wont be too much of a feel i get what ur sayin..i think id notice but nothing crazy...

exactly. i have the act 8.8 lb prolite. the revs drop faster, but to me they drop right to where they should be for the next gear. very easy to get used to.
