Default wheel and suspension help

I recently purchased an 02 si and I want to get new wheels/tires and either a supsension kit or coilovers. the thing is have no idea what to get, as far as wheels i was leaning toward a gunmetal 16in or 17in, but honestly i dont really know anything about tires or suspension. So any advice on this would be great.

as far as best suited to the car and its weight, id do a 17in rim with some 225 40 series tires. as far as type of tire, that depends on what you want to do with your car, and if you want them chicago winter friendly or not.

You left too many unanswered qeustions.

What are you going to use your car for? Is it a daily driver? Do you auto-x it, or go to track days at all? How harsh of a ride are you willing to accept? How much money do you have to spend? Since this is a used car, was anything done when you got it?

the car is going to be a daily driver, im willing to give up some ride quality for better handiling and the is completly stock right now. I was considering H&R suspension kit but i wanted to know if its worth to spend the extran money on coilovers.

I think you're gonna have to decide what to get. Everyone here has different opinions and one will tell you this sucks while other loves it. Tein and Mugen set up is pretty popular with suspension on EP3 while wheels...that's something you going to have to decide based on your budget and needs.
