frankenstein engine woes
I have a 1991 crx si. i was wondering if putting a dual cam head say from an 88 89 integra non vtec on my single cam block would b possible (d16). The main concern i have is timing (dual cam head, single cam crank) the cam gears in specific would need 2 b from a zc 1.6liter? Any input would b appreciated

For the record, it can realistically be done on the 84-87 block and a D16a1 or 1g ZC head...but it's labor intensive. Meaning if you can't do it yourself, its going to cost a lot.
Can it be done on a 88-91? Maybe. But the question is...should it be done? You're going to blow a wad of cash for what will be the same as a stock dohc ZC. And bragging rights? An expensive engine thats mediocre fast is hardly worth bragging about.
