Default What's your spring of choice?

Yes, I searched.

I have been looking for a good spring foy my CRX, but Im not too sure which I want to go for. I read the Skunk2's and Tein's lower the car too much. So I was thinking of going with Omnipower sleeveovers so I can get the drop I want, the only thing that worries me is the ride, and being sure settle once and for all. Has anyone used them? Or what other springs have you used, and are happy with?

tein's dont lower the car that much, there like 1 1/4 drop.. and they ride good..

Stefndogg, what do you as far as alignments? Do you have any sagging issues?

Also, my chassis has about 130k on it, and Im sure my bushings are shot, is it pointless to mess with my springs/shocks until I get those replaced?

i'm rolling vogtland springs. lowered it like an inch. kyb agx, all new bushings, and the cheap camber kit from ebay that bolt into the back of your upper control arms a couple of shims in the back. rides like a dream. doesent bottom out and with a little fender lip work, no tire rub. 205/50/15 falkens.

Liked my eibach sportlines on my hatch, and like my neuspeed sports on the crx. Had some Tein's but they were a little too soft for my liking.

I had Suspension techniques springs at first. The ride quality was horrible(bouncy) but the drop was nice(2.5") I took em back in exchange for the pro kit. I just wish now that I would have got the Sportlines instead as the drop is a little lower.

Are coilover's bouncier in general?

The thing that worries me is that I need to fit slicks under my drop, so if I cant with springs, Im SOL, if I cant with coilovers, I just raise it up.

I am running the skunk2s with KYB AGXs the drop is great running on 16" CP-035 on 45 series rubber, ride is a little stiff for daily drive but great on the track.
