I just bought a no-name cat back exhaust off eBay, and I love the exhaust note. It is deep and throaty, not like a supped up lawnmower like some exhausts I have heard on Hondas. The problem I have with it is that the exhaust hits the chassis where it bends to the right in front of the gas tank. If my cat were a bit longer, it wouldn't hit he bottom of the floor pan. My question is...Do the $500 plus exhausts hit there sometimes, or is this just something i will have to deal with because of the cost.

 

probably just the results of buying a knock off brand... no big deal take it to a shop and ask them to reweld it that should solve the problem

 

I think I am going to make an adapter plate of sorts, like an extension piece to go between the two pieces of the 'B' pipe.
