Default Ingredients for a fun weekend :)

ATS 4.9 Final Drive, ATS Counter Shaft & JDM First

Excedy Clutch, Pressure plate & throw out bearing

I've got a spoon flywheel sitting at home that is also going on this weekend. Should be a blast. One thing is the fawking excedy pressure plate weights a ton. I don't know about other, but man that sucker is heavy. I've got all the other misc. parts that are needed also. Going to sears tonight to pick up the final tools needed. I'm going to take pictures of everything while we do it and post up a final impression along with what each gear redlines at and what the rpms drop to between each shift. This is going on a bone stock ITR (timing set to 18deg, everything else stock) so it should be interesting.

Thanks to Dave @ R&D and Mike @ IPS and Mike K at Naples Acura. Thanks for getting everything here on time and for all your help.

Funny you should say that, my gf is at Honda right now picking some up for me I'm also getting her to get some more MTF (got 3 quarts, but just in case) and some more bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel, just incase also cause I know the Toda flywheel needs more.

That would be kick *** because I just spoke to her and they said that they could not look them up (she is at Honda) because its an Acura. I told her tell them its an IS and everything should fit. She is going to call me when she gets done to let me know, but it would be great if you could pick some up also. Better safe then sorry. I'll buy you a couple of lap dances for it

Nice. Why the JDM 1st?
The ATS & JDM counter shaft have a bigger OD (outer diameter) then the USDM so the USDM first will not fit on the ATS/JDM counter shaft. And you have to replace the counter shaft to match the ratio on the final drive. It was all included. It also came with the distancing collar and needle bearings.

I'm going to pick up some more beer tonight for tomorrow incase the 40's run out. What kind of beer do you like? I know Jason & D are Bud light, I like Mich light, Jack is a coors man. What do you want?

I'll bring the dremal too, lets see how much weight we can shave off the inside of the tranny, should be fun to do while lite up

I picked up a mini sledge for D today at home depot...
