Default Most power with a JDM header?

Just wondering what the most power, people in here no of, that someone with a JDM 4-1 header got to.

Preferably a built b18c5. Anyone ever hit over 210 wheel?

ps i searched but didn't find any real strong threads on this specifically. For those who care, when my caR was tuned the first time it hit 200 peak. I am hoping for more when its tuned again...

I doubt you'll hit 200hp with JDM headers and built motor...

I made 205 whp on my motor with a jun header (which is not alot better than JDM ITR header) so it's definitely possible.

I remember someone who used to own an ITR made 199whp with JDM header, CTR pistons, hondata and 100 octane gas...his name was chris XXX

so i doubt your doubting

Dude, my car already has over 200 wheel with the JDM.. I was just asking or trying to figure out, what is the most power everyone has heard of or seen from a built R wiht a JDM 4-1.

I am trying to figure out if I can hit 210 once its tuned again because ill-tuned before it was 200 peak at 8500. I will be tuning it to 9000 hopefully still making power and would like to see 210.

dude I have you all beat, I dynoed 201whp with usdm ITR pistons using a JDM ITR 4-1. I did this **** without Hondata using a VAFC on an old Dynojet, would of been 215-220 on a Dynapack like church .

edit: BTW that was through a restrictive Apexi world sport which is totally chambered to be 50 state legal

congrats but you should think about a few things. First, what engine/ car do you have? Do you ahve a type R?

Secondly, old dyno's can read high sometimes because the braking power for each ratio can become weak over time. I am not trying to say your car didn't hit that. But I think if you went to a new dynopack, i honestly can't see you hitting more than 200 peak with just those few things. Do you have anything else besides pistons and header?

sorry you got it all twisted. The AEBS Dyno I tuned on reads 12-15 hp less than than A Dynapack, we've tested different cars with the same Mods at AEBS and Church's Automotive and the results are the same. Dynapacks read lower because they read direct at the hubs, not at the wheels. But all in all Dynapacks are alot better for tuning, just read a higher number

Yeah the set-up was basically a Poormans Type R with Skunk stage 2 cams

a GSR block w/ .25 OS U.S. ITR pistons
Honda bearings
shot peened rods
ARP rod bolts and headstuds
1-piece head gasket
00 B16 head
street port and full radius valve job by Comptech machine
Port matched ITR manifold
ITR throttle body
ITR header
Apex WS exhaust
test pipe
Custom Mugen like ECU w/ VAFC
Portflow springs
Crower Ti retainers
thats about it....
Skunk stage II's w/ skunk gears
8lb aluminum flywheel
Clutch net 6-puck sprung ceramic disc w/ a dual diaphram Pressure plate
B16 tranyy w/ Kazz LSD
AEM 2.5" ID SI intake concealed in the air box

When did you get yours dyno'd? xhardcoresucksx put down 215 whp with a full built 2.1L RLZ motor with a GSR TB and DC JDM 4-1. The header is ok for the money but don't look for big power with it.

it was originally tuned by sakai. But I am not going to get into that becaue apparently he is a great tuner, but when I put my car on the dyno it had a horrible torque, and even the person who got the car tuned by him (previous owner) admitted it had been detonating since it was tuned.

But still managed to hit 200 peak with detonation and a lousy torque curve. Sooo I am hoping to re-tune it within the next 2-3 weeks and put OVER 200 wheel maybe 210 with a smooth curve and no detonation.

I think I mentioned it before.... maybe not. But the caR is still not tuned, I am waiting for a smsp test pipe. Then in like 2 weeks its getting tuned. But as horrible as the torque curve was before I would say it will easily get passed 128.
