1.6 and 1.5 carby?

1.6 and 1.5 carby?
looking on carsales.com for civics and there are 89 1.6 dohc but there are like 92 1.5 carby? there all diffrent i dont get it. why do some of the older ones have 1.6 and some of the newer ones have 1.5?
also i always wanted a 91 lude but i dont know if the civic is easeir and cheaper to mod?
