Woohoo!
Well, since the bug has bit me pretty bad as of late, I finally went to the DMV to get my license. I had successfully completed the MSF course back in 2003, and it's validity would have expired this year, so I figured there is no time like the present (plus I have off today).
Since I had the card showing I had done the MSF course, it waived the riding test in Virginia and all I had to take was the written. Passed with no incorrect answers at all, though I think the test was very fair, there a few questions that did require thought.
So the next step is to purchase a bike (99% sure it'll be a used SV) and I have my eye on a few. Plus having a friend that has said he'll help trailer it back is a big bonus as well. He's also going to help get me reaclimated to the bike with some parking lot riding and close to home street riding. He's been riding for a few years and knows what he's doing.
So yeah, as I said earlier, "Woohoo!"
