why would you put a sohc in it? get a usdm crx if you want to do that...you would have to hack up the mounts and everything for it to fit...screw that...

your insane... sell the whole car to someone that will appriciate it ... then buy yourself a USDM CRX witha sohc.

don't ruin a great car for some experiment.

and selling the whole motor for $4500 for a complete swap?!

you know this is honda-tech. for the most part we are all cheap and know what we should be paying for anything that is for sale that has to do with honda. that price is CRAZY. nobody in there right mind will pay that price.

:hands the flame suit over:

first lets see a pic of this car...

and the mounts arent the same.

youd need to cut out the mounts and weld in usdm d series ones.

what is there not enough aftermarket parts for a b series?

Call me crazy but, there are so many things wrong in this thread. For someone who "truely appeciates" their supposedly genuine rhd crx, they wouldnt even be entertaining the thought/idea of doing what u wanna do (sohc swap).

Like others have said, just buy a US crx and use your "fully built turbo sohc" in that. ****, if u can afford all those things u say u have, then a $1000-1500 crx is a drop in the hat. But hey, its your car and u do with it what u will. Just please dont expect to post these kinds of ideas in a public forum for practically the whole world/nation to see and not expect to get ridiculed and laughed at. Im sorry but u did it to yourself.

youre signature makes me think you dont have the real thing. If you do, then dont touch it, sell it, and let someone like me baby that think into a good future.

Honestly dont go sohc if you already have dual.

If you really do have one then lets see it! And as far as your question goes NO a SOHC will not bolt into an SIR chassis! IF you want to get props for you RHD then try to keep it some what JDM. A lot of people on here are real die hard JDM fans! Put it like this "You mess with the best get dogged like the rest!"

Also are YOU COMPLETELY HIGH? $4500 for a b16 1st gen swap? Do a little research into what you are saying before you say it! You look like a dumb *** when you come on a board with people that live and breathe Honda everyday and Just throw out some bullsh!t!!! Damn!
