Default what would be the highest redline for a stock gsr and it be safe

just dont want to F it up but would like it to rev a little higher because it feels like there is alot left at 8200. i do plan on getting springs an retainers later but not ready for them yet.

you can go up to about 8800, but I suggest upgrading to type-R cams, The 8200 is on point being thats pretty much where the powerband dies off at, even tho it feels deceiving...

right because you wont make power up there so why keep reving it? your also risking dropping a valve. get cams n spring n retainers and have fun

now i do have a skunk 2 intake manifold would that make a diff.

listen if u wana rev that high i wouldnt do it with out cams and valve trane....$200-$300 for springs n retainers can save you 1500+ later on....u dont wana float a valve.

Honda knows best and stock redline for stock motor is best. Your engine will not make anymore power reving higher than 7,800 RPM.
