Default LS TURBO.....rebuild?

Hey guys some of you probably already know that I recently just stuck in a Turbo kit on my LS.... I had to swap out my T3/T4 Turbonetics for a T3 garrett because the turbo ended up not being balanced correctly.....ehhh im not too happy with the new *smaller* turbo but who carez... it workz and it BOOOOOSTZ...

Yea.... Im unhappy with the size.... but w/e

Question!!!!!!!
I opened up my Turbonetics turbo and saw that my exhaust wheel looked fucked up..... can this get rebuilt??.....and wheres a good place I can send it too ...to get it rebuilt.... thankx

Last Question......
When I start my car......it kinda struggles????? does any of you experience this?

My car has a chipped ECU w/boost program
440cc injectors

i "think" cheapturbo.com (phoenixturbo) charges like 250 for full rebuild and balance...

whoa i didnt see that damage when i pulled it apart. james its 250 for a rebuild at phoenixturbo.com however they wont rebuild that exhaust wheel. instead they will make you buy a new one. and itll run 400$ ish total. not worth it if you ask me.

as for the cold start problem. you need to get it tuned to remedy that, its cuz you got bigger injectors and itll be harder to idle and cold start. im suprised the car idles as well as it does without tuning it out.

get it tuned. i gaurantee youll pull 20-30 horsepower more. than what you base line at

And I would keep your wastegate vac line away from your timing belt, if that thing gets chewed through your going to need a hell of a lot more than a turbo rebuild.

phoenix turbo rebuilt my sc61 and the end product was top notch, way beyond any expectations i had imagined. looked like it had NEVER been used. they were able to fix my compressor wheel by repolishing it! as for that turbine wheel, ehh...i dont know.

That T3 is puny! You're better off buying a new turbo than rebuilding it...
