The carpet removed itself from the padding beneath it and it just slides all over the place all the time. The padding below shows through on the sides, and it just looks like crap. Anyone else have this problem? or know how to fix/replace it?

 

i got black velcro....stapled the velcro to the carpet and to the mat....and also stapled velcro to the plastic on the sides of the car...there is a bit of a lip where the plastic hits the metal in the trunk....and i put velcro on the mat/carpet at the same spot....so my carpet in my trunk is always in place

 

Carpet? Who needs carpet in the trunk?

I ripped mine out a looong time ago, along with the board back there, spare tire and jack

 

i have no spare tire or jack....my brakes are too big for the stock donut now....no use for it. i got a AAA card.

 

I've got the same problem. I was thinking about a trunk mat from Mike K to solve the problem or I guess I could velcro the bottom of the carpet to the spare cover.
