Is this a good price? Used Comptech Icebox and K&N filter 2427. $125

A friend of mine is selling me his setup, since he's going turbo. Do you think it'll make a difference from stock 98 gsr?

sound wise there wont be a difference compared to a normal cai, but it performs well over stock good buy at that price IMO

the super sleeper cai. no loud whistling noises. sleeper status and great upgrade.

i say do it, i bought my icebox for 150 off of ebay and the k&n is like $60 new, but u can always clean your k&n.

I have a stock intake laying around. PM me if you interested.

But back to the original post, go for the Icebox. I've had one on my car for the last year and really like it. Like posted above, you really don't hear the intake until higher RPM's. You also have to worry less about hydrolocking because of its design.

Are you serious? Comptech icebox is A LOT quieter than a CAI.
