Coil-Overs and such...
Okay, before you yell at me--I have searched, and done a lot of research, but haven't managed to find all the information I need, so I'm asking some fairly specific questions:
I know theres a hundred different sets of coilovers, so yeah.
Looking for a set thats either adjustable in ride height, or has a minor drop, and is really agressive as far as spring rates go.
Been looking at the Skunk2's, but not 100% on the drop they give, though I've heard they're nice and stiff. Also, one person said they were adjustable--so anyone know about 'em? (A link to a place where I can find this info would be appreciated)
Thanks in advance.

Hmm, not 100% on the number spring rate I'd need, but I can do some research and figure that out..As far as that setup, do you happen to know the drop? I'm looking for something nice and mild. 1-1.5 inch drop and such, just enough to lower the car a lil.
EDIT: Also, I forget, do I wanna lower the rear of the car more or less than the front? I remember reading about it being one of those two, just not 100% sure which it was.

If you getting Coil-Overs and not Springs, then they will be adjustable.
Coil-overs are made so you can adjust the ride height to whatever, usually 1-4 inches.
If you just want a inch or two drop, then just get springs, coil-overs are mostly more stiff then springs.

Usually from experience if you lower the car evenly the front will slowly get lower then the back due to the wieght difference. Thats why i like coilovers i can just adjust it back

Well, thats the thing--I'd much pefer to sit at stock ride height with a very stiff suspension. Realized that a drop would probably be slightly helpful, as well as I'm not gonna find a stiffer suspension at a stock ride height, so I decided to go for the one with the most mild drop, which is why I said I wanted it to be 1-1.5 inch drop, not looking for it to be really lowered just perform much better. Nice to know that it'll be stiffer and adjustable...
I'm all for function, and getting into a bit of autox and such. While its still an automatic, I've got some money to spend, but not enough to get my next car, so I'm gonna drop it into the teggy. Besides, probably be fun to fix up an automatic--you rarely see it done in imports--and suspensions always a good starting point.

if you want a stiffer suspension with a minimal drop, what you could do is mate the skunk2 coilovers to koni yellows, set the konis on the stiffest setting, and adjust the skunk2 so that it is close to ride height. skunk2 has a nice stiff spring rate, but like alex said, you can get custom rates at ground control. just keep in mind, coilover/shock combo isnt enough to have nice handling, i recommend getting some sway bars, you'll feel a huge difference

700 lb front
800 lb rear
would be good rates
