Water dripping from inside exhaust
Have any of you guys had this happen? I was told (by the people at the dyno) thats its normal and it means the car is running very efficient as water is a by-product of gasoline. Does that make sense?
The water looks clean and clear...not with oil or anything in it (I know someone is going to say my headgasket is blown).
Just wondering is anyone else has noticed this.

Its normal.
Hydrocarbon + O2 + spark = CO2 and H20 (water!)
This is in an ideal world, but since were are not in one you get a bunch of other crap too.

and it is also recommended that on a very cold day to have at least have 1/4th (i think or half tank) of gas so it won't freeze gas lines.....

I wander what is hevier - gas or ice. If ice is havier, then it doesn't really matter.

LOL! Yea...I ran without gaskets and the muffler was about 1/4 full with water..
I have gaskets now and I still get little speckles on the bumper (black because the synthetic goes out the muffler too
)
Hey we are lucky..we have PERFECT combustion!

The oil all over your motor is not a very reassuring sight.
naw..no water in the oil... plugs are clean too... gasket seepage is normal for "Race" motors!
And its NOT "ALL OVER"

Water in car exhaust comes from the air. The more humidity the more water in the system that does not get converted to steam. Water is a major contributer to exhaust systems rusting out in humid climates.

I've had my car parked for a little over a year since I crashed it and everytime I start it, it will drip a whole lot from the exhaust. My cousin's car has been parked up for other reasons (but it's fine), and his also lets a lot of water out. Is this because the cars just haven't moved very far in a long time? I mean why would it drip a puddle say 8 inches in diameter? My real concern is when I put on my new exhaust, will it rust prematurely?

The formula is simple.. Every gallon of gas you burn you make a gallon of water.
When your motor and exhaust are hot the water stays mostly as vapor.. but when cold the water condenses, and spits out your exhaust.. sometimes you can get a large puddle alright... but it's easy enough to tell the difference btwn water vapor and antifreeze, so unless it's antifreeze, go worry about something else and don't waste your time watching water from the exhaust.
