i have a stock obd2 sohc vtec ecu 75 shipped to you. or i have a jdm itr obd2 ecu for 175 shipped to you. you want the second for the car to run properly. both ecu's will plug right up to your factory harness np. let me know.

i dont think theres such thing as a p78. If its for a gsr, then it should be a p72. The only other gsr ecu made was a p61, came in the 92-93 gsr's
ANY ecu that isn't OBD2a (96-98) won't plug into your car without a conversion harness. An ITR from a compatible year wouldn't be too bad a choice but I believe you'll have to move a wire to bypass the "immobilizer" circuit to get the fuel pump working.
A P2T would also be good but it'd cost you like $125 for an OBD2a-OBD2b conversion harness.
OBD1 converters are only around $70 now, so getting a chipped P28 isn't a bad option...

still have the jdm itr ecu's which have no immobilizer are ready to plug play and drive you car. also 5 speed 96-98 civic ex for 70 shipped. or the itr for 170 shipped
