I know this is way, way off topic here - but if you love cars you don't want to miss watching at least part of the Barrett-Jackson Automobile Auction. It is showing on Speedvision starting this evening and will be running most of the weekend.

I remember watching last year when they rolled a Ford GT40 up on the stage and the sound out of that car that filled the hall was just incredible.

The best part of the entire show, besides the cars, is Speedvision's Alan de Cadenet. This guy is a genius when it comes to cars and always can tell the story behind the automobile...

 

Doesn't it take place in Arizona? I think a family friend had some passes to it. Maybe I should put the R up and see what it goes for
